About our ... Biscuits and sweetsThere are more varieties of traditional cakes, sweets and biscuits, or 'dolci', produced in Sardinia than in any other region of Italy. They are made in celebration of festivals throughout the year and are presented as gifts when visiting friends and family.
The outstanding quality of Sardinia's Torrone (nougat) is a result of the exceptional quality of the honey and nuts that are produced on the island and we have sourced ours from the island's epicentre of torrone production, the village of Tonara.
Our prettily packaged sweets and biscuits are a perfect way of saying 'thank you', 'congratulations', 'happy birthday' or 'get well soon' and to serve to friends. Of course, you may just want to keep them for yourself!
Note to those longing for more of our biscuits... They will be returning in 2011.
